    This medicine is manufactured by Bayer Zydus Pharma, Müllerstrasse 178, D-13353, Berlin, Germany. It is available in the form of a tablet. Each coated tablet Composition of 2.0 mg Cyproterone Acetate IP and 0.035 mg Ethinyl estradiol IP (In memo pack containing 21 coated tablets).

    Diane -35 is to be taken regularly to achieve the therapeutic efficacy and the required contraceptive protection. Previously used hormonal contraception should be discontinued. The dose regimen of this pill is similar to the usual regimen of most of the combined oral contraceptives. Thus, the same administrative rules must be considered. Combined oral contraceptives, when taken a right, have a failure rate of around one percent per year. The irregular intake of this medication can lead to intermenstrual bleedings and could deteriorate the therapeutic and contraceptive reliability.

    The use depends on the severity of the symptoms of androgenization and their response to therapy. As a rule, treatment ought to be done more than a while. Time to relieve of sing is at least three months. Acne and seborrhea usually respond sooner than hirsutism. The need for regular treatment should be evaluated periodically by the treating physician.

    Tablet-taking has to start on day one of the woman’s natural cycle (i.e., the first day of her menstrual bleeding).
